Celebrating and Spreading Kindness

This week our class has been working thoughtfully on creating a kind and caring community to take us forward on our 2nd grade journey!  We read books, wrote down ideas, created our Hopes and Dreams, and shared lots of smiles and learning experiences.  Today our class enjoyed a short video showing the power and impact of kindness.  The children wanted to share it with their families.  The ideas that the students shared following the video were quite moving and insightful.  I'm super proud of them and hopeful that they'll be looking for opportunities to start their own "Kindness Boomerangs".
